This one-click personality test analyses your Facebook Likes to generate a prediction of your psychological profile. It was developed by David Stillwell and Michal Kosinski (the University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre) in collaboration with myPersonality project.  

This prediction is based on cutting-edge multi-disciplinary research into online behaviour and a deep understanding of the psychology of big data. Our models have been refined using insights gleaned from a unique database of 6 million individuals' psychological and social media profiles - one of the largest databases of behavioural information ever collected.  

We believe that high-quality research has the power to change the way in which businesses interact with their customers, and that is why, since the launch of the first version of this application in 2007, we have been committed to transparency and individual consent.  

Our analytical techniques and findings are described in detail in a number of peer-reviewed publications and we share our data in an anonymised format with an open-source community of researchers from over 50 academic institutions worldwide.
